In 2009 we decided to create a suite on the last free rooftop room at La Fábrica, one which would literally levitate over the gardens and the Sala Cúbica.

Surrounded by three large windows, the double bed located in the center of the space contemplates the fantastic views during the day and at night the lighting of the Sala Cúbica and night lit gardens gave a magic and poetic feel to the Polvera.

The space is reached by narrow stairs and below it is a bathroom/dressing room with views to the Garden of Delights.

The cement walls and ceilings were left in their original raw factory finish and the floor was simply painted white. White curtains enclosed the space, framing the views as if they were an artwork -which they actually were.

This small and intimate space is spare without being cold, tiny yet spacious, raw yet elegant. A place in which to be oneself, without distractions.
